Pete Sara

BACKGROUND/PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Pete is a founding owner and Executive Vice President/CFO of Kunzik & Sara Construction, Inc. Pete joined forces with Mike
Kunzik after a 20 year friendship. Pete offers over 25 years of experience in all phases of construction including estimating,
pre-construction, project management, and owner representation. His responsibilities have included the entitlement process,
due diligence, conceptual budgets, design development coordination, and working exclusively with owners to bring the
project budget in line with the final product desired. Pete is an avid member of NADA and the California Auto Dealer
Association.
He has extensive experience in automotive facilities, multi-story post-tension, pre-cast concrete, steel and wood frame,
masonry, and tilt-up structures. He has been involved in over 350 new and renovated facilities which have housed most car
lines. Pete's duties have included value engineering, as well as working with city and redevelopment agencies,
manufacturers, architects, and engineers, administering owner contracts and subcontracts, preparation and monitoring of
budgets, project buyout and submittals, scheduling, quality and cost control, and progress billings.

Pete has been involved in many of the image programs including Chevrolet, Lexus, Toyota, Buick, Ford, Honda, and BMW.
He has extensive experience in remodeling and expanding facilities while in operation. Construction challenges have
included city liaison, soil nailing, pile foundations, environmentally sensitive areas, and methane recovery alarmed systems.
Pete holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee and postgraduate degrees from the
University of San Diego and National University. He has also completed the course work for his DBA at USIU.
